Man stronger than Machine ?

Buggy already made a lot of good results against very strong players (GMI and MI...) in semi-rapid and blitz games. The training games played against Souleymane Keita, Maxime Kouamé and Wieger Wesselink keep showing it.

The match between Buggy and GMI N'Diaga Samb was quite interesting, with many very exciting games. Though Samb managed to spot some weaknesses in Buggy's knowledge, the program proved that he was a valuable opponent. With a bit more luck, Buggy could even had won the match.

In constant progress (algorithm, knowledge, processor speed), Buggy is today even more competitive than in August 2001. At the time of the match, Buggy was still only 3-year old. It now is more of an adult.

The revenge of the match will give us a better insight of the relative strengths of computers vs humans.
