International Draughts : The Revenge of the First Man-Machine Match

In August 2001, International Grand-Master N'Diaga Samb (Senegal) won the first Man-Machine in the history of International Draughts, against the best program, BUGGY.

The time for revenge has come.

The French program BUGGY will again play N'Diaga Samb, now ranked World #8. The revenge will take place in the prestigious Palais des Festivals in Cannes, during the International Games Festival.

N'Diaga Samb is the best African player. In the last five years he made constant progress. Many people see him a potential World Champion.

BUGGY is programmed by Nicolas Guibert, 1999 French Champion, together with a strong team of players (International Grand-Master Maxime Kouamé, International Master Wieger Wesselink, and Souleymane Keita).

The match will be sanctionned by the ICGA (International Computer Games Association), the FFJD (French Draughts Federation) and the FMJD (World Draughts Federation).

The match will be broadcast live on the official site, thanks to the web-hosting company Amen.

All information about the match is already available on the official site. A complete media pack can also be downloaded there.
